My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

Flagged QUILT Top COMPLETED IN 48 HOURS

Sailing with Dj is the name of this Quilt.
Dj is my 4 yr old Gandson. I completed this quilt in 48 hrs, I challenged myself to be focused on one UFO this weekend. It will be quilted later this week. From Fridays post I explained my challenge and the love for this quilt. In Color Order is Jeni Baker mini flag tutorial I used. I knew this was the right fabric for this pattern. Also I give credit to The modern quilt quild for this HST tutorial. and to my husband Matt who took care of me and help me also decorate the house for Halloween and Fall. Its important to trim accurately, I marked on my cutting board because I need a new one and it was easier to work in batches this way.

ITS A LARGE HST, 8.5 X12.5.

My little dog Chinney got bored and wanted to sit in my lap and play, so she is laying by my machine looking sad at me. LOL !!

Checking my points and trying to decide on pattern, you can make multiple designs with this pattern. I wish that I had made my Flags several inches smaller, but you never know until your Finished.

I took it outside to photograph and love it with Red !

Its Done, off to another project. I will be working on some English paper piecing, my husband is helping me cut pieces for our son and his new wife. For Josh's wedding quilt.
