About my header

My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

JUNGLE LOVE BABY QUILT AND GIVEAWAY

This is an exciting post for me, first off its a competition, Secondly I have a new grandbaby coming Nov 28, and this will be his or her first Quilt, Thirdly a Giveaway. open internationally too ! Made with  Umbrella Print 100 % organic Cotton and Hemp  trimmings,  Several colors of essex linen and 100 % recycled linen.The backing is penguin and fish for Clothworks by Alyssa Thomas organic elements fabric.  I used 100 % Bamboo cotton batting, Quilted completed by me, I decided on straight lines in various widths. SIZE 36X49 . I approached it with a fun and Improve design

    I was astounded looking at the Umbrella Prints pinterest board - the creativity is amazing - so many different creations from small pieces of fabric. I especially loved the applique pictures and the totes and small bags.
