About my header

My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

Here is the tutorial:
www.filminthefridge.com/2009/04/27/a-string-quilt-block-t...

Main differences:

Finished Block size: 6.5 inches.

Let's keep the white center strip WHITE and 1 inch in width for consistency! (The strip should be .5 finished)

Please do not use glue on the center piece, it tends to stick to the white and is not necessary.

All blocks with PAPER REMOVED need to be sent to the Bee Mama by the deadline September 28, 2012.

please label individual blocks with your name so you do not end up getting your own back by accident. This can be as simple as your initials and a piece of tape, an address label or some people sewed names on too. I would like each block individually labeled as it aides in the sorting process.

I am not posting my home address publicly here so when you are ready to send, FM me and I will send you my shipping address.

If in the USA please include a SASE.

If international please let me know when you send with an FM and your paypal account info.

It is not necessary to tell us how many blocks you will make but it is necessary to say you agree to the rules and tell me how many you sent when you do send them. If you do not agree to the rules your blocks will not be swapped.

So I think that about covers it! Shoot me a FM if you have any questions.
