BINDING A MUST FINISH, I SWEAR

MY GANDSON LOVES THIS QUILT SO MUCH, ITS SO SPECIAL TO HIM, HE HAS BEEN USING IT FOR 6 MONTHS WITHOUT BINDING! AS SOON AS I GET BACK, I WILL NOT DO ANYTHING UNTIL I BIND! ( NOTE TO SELF)

I am really excited because I loved the first Sewalong, it was my first one and I adore the Zakka sewing style, if you dont know about it, LRstitched has a special tab all about it. I am still using the last book.. it stays on my cutting table. I love it when I am journaling here in blog land , while you  are posting pictures from Picasa and you see your past pictures, I see my zakka projects, and they  are my favorites..

BIG NEWS FOR ME us!

They are having their first baby !! They are so excited ! I am excited for them too..( no April Fools) 

After the Kids left the nest, I said now I just need to be a Gandma, Well, they just keep coming ! My oldest gandbaby will be 5 in June, so I will have 6, 5 and under, I cant keep up the quilting, playing with them is alot of fun ! Some of them call me Damnmaw, ( in baby talk) yea ! LOL.......

I AM GOING TO LEARN TO MAKE MINI MAGPIE DOLL QUILTS, THEY ARE SO SWEET, MY NEW BLOG FRIEND WAS PUBLISHED THIS MONTH IN SEW SOMERSET.. I BOUGHT A PATTERN AND WON A CUTE SPOOL PHOTO HOLDER.. I am continuing my flicker groups, I loved them. MINI STRING BLOCK  ( ONE OF MY FAVORITE ONES IS HAVING SIGN UPS, BLOCKS ARE NOT DUE UNTIL MARCH.) I HAVE COLLECTED SOME GORGEOUS 6.5 BLOCKS.
