Mosaic challenge and InLinkz Challenge with a Prize

 I am playing the Mosaic game with Stitched in Color by Rachel sponsored by FABRIC SPOT CANADA BASE ONLINE SHOP. What you do is make a Mosaic Color Design using Huge labs mosaic online tool.
What you DO: copy and pasting image url's from Fabric Spot.  To find url's first go to the item page on Fabric shop, then right click on the image you want and choose "copy image URL". Then you add the image using 12 fabric images,( I didnt read this carefully first.)

I dont play online games like Candy Crush my friends are bombing me with. I thought this would be fun, at first it was a challenge. You dont have to blog about it, you can post it on Stitched in Color's   InLinkz . See her Blog post for more details. I am going to post some more fabric choices on my blocks, this is what I started with. , There is a Giveaway so why not Play. These are just my beginning fabric choices. 

I am dreaming up a Grandson Quilt and in this image I am using a white Linen, I always use some linen in my projects and see the blue Moda weave. I also love Fabric Elements, I want the Whale to mature here using shapes and color. 

I finally did it.. I made a block of 12. The trick is to open the links to the 2 websites Big Huge Labs and Fabric Spot. Now I want to work on my design block..

Sara Lawson SewSweetness  is having a Block design Challenge for her new line of fabrics, See her blog for details. The block can be hand written great for my busy complicated life right now. I have completed  a mock up I will work on and do a post when finished. 

Strawberry Field Hat

 I finished the Briar Rose Fabric challenge with Quilted Sandwich  They will blog the challenge and let me know when. Does this look like a Strawberry? I want to write a pattern for this and my first tutorial. After I see the reviews. I would appreciate your opinion.

CROSS-STITCHING AT SIMPLESEW

I JUST LOVE CROSS-STITCHING, I STARTED AT A VERY EARLY AGE OF 12. IF I DONT STITCH A FEW STITCHES EVERYDAY, I GET "STITCH ANXIETY". i love stitching pieces that commemorate an event in my life, like this piece here for my ganddaughter lillyAnn. I have enjoyed crossing over into quilting and adding my cross-stitching TO ITEMS I MAKE. here is my current item i am working on for the Season by hand at clover and violet's blog......I sorta designed this, its different elements from different patterns.
