JANUARY BLOCKS COMPLETED, NOW JUST PLAY

 I completed my Do Good Stitches Block for my Nurture Group. The tutorial is on Stitched in Color. This Block was a challenge for me but after many tries, I was able to get it to my sanctification. The practice blocks I am going to use to make a table runner for my room, Because all of these fabrics I love and have been collecting and then I will link up to .. No waste here.This month Sew Can She is hosting a Hop with prizes if you make something with a Herringbone block. What a great combo for me. Win win !



I also completed my January blocks for my Liberty and Justice Group, Each month there is a different Queen and we select a patriotic block to sew, I think most of us are donating our Quilts to a military group or family. This Month, Amy had a great idea to put a saying or Thank you  on the blocks. I really love it. I also want to say to my Texas blogging Buddy, Vickie for printing for me, I was out of ink. Its Great to have a blogging buddy you can call and celebrate with. Check out my blocks and I will give you a hint about my Blogaversary !!  Working on my Herringbone block for the Nurture Group, its not going well for me, I need to get with Stitched in Color, she will help me out. 

Happy Quilting has started the Star Burst Quilt Along so I will start cutting on this today !! SCAREY !!! I have more, I own the entire Collection, I also am adding more greyss and lavendars with it. I just got a big order from Intrepid Threads, it feels so silky smooth.

my block.. not matching at all

These are the Blocks from Decembers Liberty and Justice Group, this group blogs once a month on Flicker, there is a Queen that choses the block and fabric, it must be patriotic either in color, block or both. I was the queen for December and I chose a PP block from FreshlemonsQuilts. Everyone else did Christmas colors and their stunning accept for me, my sample block was with Kona Moderns, I am going to go back to my Christmas scraps and re-do to match their wonderful blocks. 


Seriously, I am spinning my wheels, from the Holidays, moving my studio and starting the New Year right, now its time to Sync the old and start Fresh, you can see on my side Bar all the great things I have joined to learn and grow. I have an anniversary coming up in February and some great Folks that will be celebrating with me, I hope you will join the party too on February 11 thru the 14th..
