About my header

My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

I am really excited because I loved the first Sewalong, it was my first one and I adore the Zakka sewing style, if you dont know about it, LRstitched has a special tab all about it. I am still using the last book.. it stays on my cutting table. I love it when I am journaling here in blog land , while you  are posting pictures from Picasa and you see your past pictures, I see my zakka projects, and they  are my favorites..

BIG NEWS FOR ME us!

They are having their first baby !! They are so excited ! I am excited for them too..( no April Fools) 

After the Kids left the nest, I said now I just need to be a Gandma, Well, they just keep coming ! My oldest gandbaby will be 5 in June, so I will have 6, 5 and under, I cant keep up the quilting, playing with them is alot of fun ! Some of them call me Damnmaw, ( in baby talk) yea ! LOL.......

    Congratulations Damnmaw! 2 years ago my parents had the honor of having 8 babies under the age of 5, now it is still 8 grandkids but under 7 years old.
