About my header

My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

CROSS-STITCHING AT SIMPLESEW

I JUST LOVE CROSS-STITCHING, I STARTED AT A VERY EARLY AGE OF 12. IF I DONT STITCH A FEW STITCHES EVERYDAY, I GET "STITCH ANXIETY". i love stitching pieces that commemorate an event in my life, like this piece here for my ganddaughter lillyAnn. I have enjoyed crossing over into quilting and adding my cross-stitching TO ITEMS I MAKE. here is my current item i am working on for the Season by hand at clover and violet's blog......I sorta designed this, its different elements from different patterns.

NOW I NEED TO ADD HER NAME AND DATE TO MAKE A PILLOW. I WILL BE USING FABRIC FROM HER NURSERY SET WHICH I MADE TOO, I KEEP EVERY TINY SCRAP.

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING THE SEASON BY HAND AND WANTED TO SHOW YOU WHAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON, MY SEWING MOJO HAS BEEN OFF LATELY, THOUGHT I WOULD SHOW MYSELF WHAT I CAN DO IF I JUST RELAX AND DO.

      I hardly ever follow the rules in stitching, I am fixing to start a Black Bird design, its has 11 sections and a place for a personal one.. its gonna be big and on 35 count.. I am looking for more cross-stitch friends so if you have anyone you love to follow please share the link with me.
