About my header

My shed is my header by my son Darrell, He painted the Robin for me and said that it reminded him of me. Because Robins use other birds nest and if there is an egg in it, they will take care of it just like its their own. He said thats what I do, I have always taken care of others in need of a home when I come across someone in need. Isnt that Sweet, I had told him I wanted a bird and this is the one he chose. Robins have solid blue eggs which are the symbols for him and his brothers and the speckled egg are the others I have taken into my home. It was very touching to me because he researched his piece, He is a true artist and has lots of great jobs. my neighbor had hers done to

Quilting this Weekend and inviting Jeni Baker

Jeni Baker and ME this Weekend..I am Slashing this wonderful Bundle this weekend. I won this fabric, by winning a gift certificate from the Fat Quarter Shop.  I am turning off everything this weekend, including my husband. I have been wanting to Quilt my Gandson DJ a Quilt and he loves this fabric. When I told him I bought this for him, That was enough for him. He watched me sew a Quilt for Downey for Kids and kept asking who is the Quilt for, I said for a sick boy in the hospital, He wanted his name. So we named him Tommy. Now Dj has waited patiently for his Quilt and has said Thank you several times and its not even cut yet. So, I have read and studied Jeni Bakers mini tutorial Flagged Quilt Mini tutorial and the Modern Quilt Guilds no HST tutorial and Monday I should have a Quilt Top. It want be Quilted, I have to make an appt to use the LongArm,..So when I say its me and Jeni this weekend, because when I had a question, she responded, she stands by her blog and her tutorials. And George is cute too ! Have a good weekend Jeni, and everyone else. This is for you Dj, Gandma loves you with all my heart and you are such a good Boy!
