SIMPLESEW ON SHOW OFF SATURDAY

I finally made myself a table runner and I love it. I originally spoke about it April 27th but I dont think I said enough. These are 2inch Hexies and randomly picked up and stitched together. This is Stitching fun, I did to relax or take with me. I have a few hexies like the little Hello Kitty one that I selected to remind me this is a scrappy piece I love. Like Patchwork, there are a few more in there too. I put 3 decorative stitches from my machine for quilting . I used essex linen for the backing and binding.

and this will be a thimble purse, its A necklace purse stitched on 42 ct linen.. designed by Brenda Gervais I have stitched it twice and have yet to make me one.. hhhhmmm..

I ADDED THIS ONE INCH DRESDEN TO THE BACK Of A NEEDLE CASE, I HAVENT FINISHED IT YET, BUT HAD TO SHOW THIS TO YOU. ITS SO DARN CUTE, IT MAKES UP IN 20 MINS..tutorial free

MY SCRAPS HAVE BEEN GROWING SO I NEED TO SCRAP BUST . DO YOU SEE WHATS STOPPING ME..

OUR FIRST CRAFTING EXPERIENCE MAKING OUR EASTER EGG FOOT PRINT. This is Liberty my 3rd granddaughter 4 months old.

I MADE EASTER BANNERS OUT OF LINED TABLE CLOTHES AND THEY WERE EASY AND STILL UP.. THEY MIGHT LIKELY STAY UP FOR SUMMER AROUND THE PLAY HOUSE.

I DID A ZIG ZAG STITCH ON THE STRING AND STAPLED THE CORNER.. BY CUTTING ON THE FOLD THEY WERE 2 SIDED..

I HAVE BEEN EPP ALOT, ALOT.... I finally finished me a table runner for my side table. I played with some stitching on my machine to quilt it on Essex linen.

SIMPLESEW SUNDAY STASH REPORT and EPP FINISH

I ordered several great stash deals this week off instagram, my fav is this Linen package.. what adorable fabric. I like stash bags because it makes me step out of my comfort zone. There should be a stash police at every shop so they make sure every bag is filled with a deal and beauties. Colleen the manager at Intrepid Threads is here by Sheriff.. I had hesitated from buying on instagram because colors can be " enhanced" Not the deals I found this week. I also bought a great deal from Clothparcel, I will photograph for next week. Never bought from them, but I will now.

Big gorgeous finish for me, modern Hexi table runner, my first time to complete a hexi project. I didnt want it to reflect flowers and I used some fun stitches on my machine. Backing and Batting is essex linen, my favorite to use in any project.
